ABOUT THIS EVENT
Building a Thriving and Sustainable Lagos
The Lagos State Sustainability Summit, convened by the Lagos State Office of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Lagos State Safety Commission, Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, and the Lagos State Ministry of Environment aims to advance the vision of a resilient and sustainable Lagos.
With the theme ""Building a Thriving and Sustainable Lagos” the summit provides a platform for stakeholders to address key environmental challenges and enhance safety measures. Aligned with the Lagos Voluntary Local Review (VLR), the summit seeks to foster partnerships, promote best practices, and explore innovative solutions to ensure environmental quality, public safety, and the well-being of Lagosians.
Through collaboration across governmental, private, and civil sectors, the summit aims to chart a path towards a future where Lagos serves as a model for sustainable urban development, integrating economic prosperity, environmental stewardship, and social equity.
